15 Minutes

Items Needed:
1- Alignment Stick (https://amzn.to/4iDh7TO)
2- Range Balls
3- Tees (https://amzn.to/3Yz5Cph)
4- Driver

Setup:
1- Pick a target on the range.
2- Set up an alignment stick so you can make sure you’re lined up to your target.

Drill
1- Grab your driver with a split grip, your lead hand on top of the club and your trail hand underneath.
2- Make a few practice backswings with the hands in this position. Note that your trail elbow should be pretty square and vertical at the top of the backswing.
3- Bring it down into the downswing, and it will be much easier to keep your trail arm in the slot. The slot is a path you want your trail arm to follow that will generate a lot of power and a more consistent direction.
4- When you’re in the slot, your trail arm doesn’t get caught up behind your body on the downswing. It stays in front of your body, enabling it to deliver a lot more power to the golf ball
5- Once you’ve gotten a feel for the split hand grip, do it about five times, bringing the club into your backswing and then back down.
6- When you feel confident that you’ve got a feel for that, bring your hands back together and hit a ball, trying to replicate those feels.
7- Repeat the process for the remainder of your drill time.
