Items Needed:
1- Alignment Stick (https://amzn.to/4iDh7TO)
2- Range Balls
3- 7-Iron
Setup:
1- Pick a target on the range
2- Aim Alignment stick at target
Drill:
1- Take a stance at the ball, with the inside edge of your lead foot directly lined up with the ball.
2- Take your trail foot directly behind you so it’s a bit difficult to balance
3- Imagine theres a dot on the ball, a dot on your navel, and a dot on your sternum. These 3 dots should stay in line throughout these swings.
4- Hit 5 shots. Notice how you can’t fall back on your trail foot, forcing you to finish on your lead foot. If you’re having a hard time hitting the ball clean, swing smaller and slower.
5- This promotes a proper finish and helps you keep clean form in your golf swing. It will help you maximize your distance while maintaining control of your shot direction.
