15 Minutes
Items Needed:
1- Alignment Stick (https://amzn.to/4iDh7TO)
2- Range Balls
3- 7-Iron
Setup:
1- Pick a target on the range
2- Aim Alignment stick at target
Drill:
1- Address the ball like you normally do, then take a small step back with your lead foot, toward your trail foot
2- Shift your weight to your trail leg, and keep your upper body quiet.
3- Start your backswing normally, with hands, arms, and body in sync.
4- As you approach the top of your backswing, step forward with your lead foot to it’s original position.
5- Step through as you start your downswing, initiating with your lower body, and letting the upper body follow.
6- Take 5 practice swings with the step drill, then hit 1 ball with the step drill.
7- Continue doing this for about 15 minutes.
